Drawn to You
About the Book
Drawn to You is a vivid and stirring portrait of Sarah Cohen, a young Orthodox Jewish woman whose life is shaped by devotion to her family, her faith, and the traditions of her Brooklyn community. Her days follow a familiar rhythm rooted in responsibility, expectation, and belonging.
Beneath the surface of this carefully ordered life, however, lies a quiet longing. Before marriage and motherhood, Sarah cherished a love for art, a part of herself she set aside in order to fulfill the role expected of her.
When Sarah unexpectedly wins an art contest, an unforeseen door opens. The recognition awakens a spark she believed had long been extinguished and introduces the possibility of a world she never imagined she could enter.
Now faced with a choice between the life she knows and the self she can no longer ignore, Sarah must confront questions of identity, freedom, and faith that challenge everything she has been taught to uphold.
Some journeys begin not with movement, but with listening.
